Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ToolJutsu website at tooljutsu.com and its tools (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ToolJutsu provides a collection of free online utility tools that run in your web browser. The Service is provided free of charge, requires no account, and is offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Tools and features may be added, changed, suspended or removed at any time without notice.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for any lawful purpose. You agree not to use it to process content you do not have the right to process, to break any applicable law, to infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others, or to attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious ends, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure. You are solely responsible for the files and data you choose to process with the Service and for ensuring your use is legal in your jurisdiction.

3. Calculators and estimates

Calculators provided on ToolJutsu (including BMI, BMR, loan, mortgage, calorie, tax and similar tools) provide estimates based on published standard formulas. They are not a substitute for professional advice. Consult a qualified healthcare provider, financial advisor, or tax professional for decisions specific to your situation.

More broadly, all tool output is provided for general informational purposes. You should independently verify any result before relying on it for an important decision.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. There is no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any tool's output will be accurate or suitable for your needs.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToolJutsu and Balaji Surendran will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of — or inability to use — the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, the total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

6. Intellectual property

The ToolJutsu name, logo, design, written content and original code are the property of Balaji Surendran and are protected by applicable law. You keep all rights to the files and data you process with the Service — no ownership is claimed over your content, and it is never received by the Service in the first place.

7. Third-party services

The Service uses Web3Forms to deliver contact-form submissions and Cloudflare to serve the site. If advertising or analytics services are added in future (for example, an advertising network or visitor analytics), this clause and the Privacy Policy will be updated to disclose them.

8. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be revised from time to time. When that happens, the “Last updated” date above will be updated. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
